Our Owner's Story

From a young age, Zach's obsession with taking things apart and putting them back together both drove his parents crazy and gave them an early look at his future vocation. Moving from the living room VCR to his grandfather's garage, he knew early on that his hands would become the primary tool for supporting his family and serving his community.

With over a decade of hands-on experience in the automotive industry and a formal education backed by a Dean’s Award for academic excellence from SAIT, Zach earned his credentials as a Red Seal Journeyman Automotive Technician. He built his career on precision, diagnostic expertise, and a straightforward, transparent approach to vehicle repair.

As Zach’s professional career blossomed, so did his family. Eh to Zed Automotive was founded on the belief that premium mechanical service shouldn't require the hassle of towing or a disrupted schedule. We are a family business from the start, here to keep your family moving safely.

How does mobile automotive service work?

I bring the shop to your driveway or office. You don't have to worry about drop-offs or shuttle rides; I handle the repair while you go about your day.

You're available weekday evenings and Saturday?

Yes! Our dedicated evening and weekend appointments provide you crucial service without disrupting your work schedule.

What types of repairs can be done on-site?

Most maintenance and diagnostics—including brakes, batteries, and electronic troubleshooting—are easily done mobile. For major engine or transmission overhauls that require a hoist, I can advise on the best next steps.

Does this affect my vehicle's manufacturer warranty?

Not at all. As a Red Seal Journeyman, my work and the premium parts I use meet or exceed OEM standards, keeping your factory warranty fully intact.

What happens if it's raining or snowing?

I can perform many services in a garage or during light weather. If the conditions are unsafe for a quality repair, we will simply reschedule to the next available window at no extra cost!
